Wedding Catering Check List

Getting the catering correct for your wedding day is essential, We at Wedding Bar Hire have a list of tips for our clients to have a quick check through.  

• Are they able to cater for all dietary requirements?
• Will they offer more than one option for guests to choose from? 
•  Are you able to bring in your own alcohol? If so, will they charge corkage? And how much is it?
• Will they provide waiting staff? If so, what will they wear?
• When it comes to drinks, are they able to offer alternatives to wine and beer such as alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails as well as soft drinks?
• Will they provide linen, china, glassware and cutlery? If so, can you choose the colours and designs?
• Are they also able to offer canapés before the wedding breakfast, and a buffet or snacks in the evening?
• Do they offer any alternatives to the traditional wedding breakfast, such as a barbecue or hog roast?
• How much deposit do they require and when do you need to pay the full amount?
• Have they worked at your venue before? Are they able to bring in all cooking facilities, or can they use the facilities available?
• Are they able to decorate your reception tables?
• If you hire china, glassware and cutlery, will they clean and return everything?
